A financial services firm is seeking an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist for their Manhattan office.

Hourly pay rate is $30-32/hr, commensurate with experience.

Mon-Fri onsite.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the reception area, including receiving calls, routing correspondence, registering passes for visitors, and greeting and settling visitor logistics.
  • Schedule meetings and oversee the CEO's calendar.
  • Assist with scheduling interviews for the Head of HR.
  • Manage conference room scheduling, setup, and breakdown. Ensure all meeting spaces are prepared and presentable for meetings.
  • Monitor and stock office supplies and kitchen pantry items.
  • Sort and distribute mail and packages.
  • Assist the operations team with event planning including happy hours, team building outings, client meetings, and holiday parties.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in an administrative support role within a professional setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills, able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
