We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Associate Material Coordinator to join our team in Juncos, PR starting at $15.02ph . Under direct supervision, you will be responsible for performing hands-on operations related to receiving, storing, dispensing, transferring, and shipping materials in a primarily cGMP environment.

Key Responsibilities:

\n\n
    \n\t
  • Receive, store, dispense, deliver, transfer, reconcile, cycle count, or ship materials according to cGMP procedures and regulations, utilizing multiple systems and/or sites.\n\t
  • Proficiently use inventory systems to resolve basic issues within Amgen's ERP system.\n\t
  • Utilize multiple quality, operations, and logistical software applications with read/write access.\n\t
  • Review and verify cGMP transactions and use Power Industrial Vehicles (PIV) to move warehouse materials.\n\t
  • Safely operate trucks (flatbed or panel) to transport warehouse materials, hazardous materials, or general receiving goods, adhering to Department of Transportation regulations.\n\t
  • Receive, deliver, store, transfer, or ship hazardous materials in compliance with federal guidelines.\n\t
  • Follow OSHA, DOT, and Amgen policies and regulations, along with other required standards.\n\t
  • Identify and report operational issues and process improvement opportunities to leadership.\n\t
  • Participate in group/department specific projects and maintain compliant training records.\n\t
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, preparing for regulatory inspections and audits.\n\t
  • Perform other assigned functions as needed.\n

Education/Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED.\n
\n\n

Specific Software Requirements:

\n\n
    \n\t
  • Proficient in using inventory systems and multiple quality, operations, and logistical software applications.\n
\n\n

Shift Information:

\n\n
    \n\t
  • Non-standard shifts, including weekends and holidays.\n\t
  • Positions may require first, second, or third shifts.\n\t
  • Currently, the position is 8 hours, but there is potential for a shift to 12 hours, with staff rotating every four months.\n
\n\n

  • Strong computer skills with the capability to operate efficiently within multiple software applications.\n\t
  • Intermediate mathematical skills for inventory management and transactions.\n\t
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.\n\t
  • Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and adhere to cGMP standards.\n\t
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to interact constructively with peers and clients.\n\t
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment, both independently and as part of a team.\n\t
  • Basic customer service skills.\n

  • Visual and mental concentration on specialized equipment and instruments.\n\t
  • Exposure to temperature extremes (cold/hot rooms), wetness, fumes, vibrations, dust, noise, and odors, requiring protective equipment and compliance with strict work guidelines.\n
