Job Description
Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital, a part of Fairview Health Services, is looking for a Certified Nurse Practitioner or licensed Physician Assistant to become a part of our team and provide care in Cardiology. Grand Itasca is a fully integrated multi-specialty clinic and hospital located in Northern Minnesota.
POSITION: Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: 1.0 FTE (typically 4.5 days per week.)

Practice Opportunity

Provide additional coverage in our nearby community of Hibbing, MN
Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC)
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 2 years Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience preferred.
Training in Cardiology is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail oriented and self-motivated.

The posted pay range is for a 1.0 FTE. The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Positions with the same min/max are flat rate jobs based on a 1.0 FTE schedule. Compensation plans based on production can allow for higher pay than the range posted. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical.

Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital has 10,000 to 12,000 patient visits per month. The primary service area of the clinic includes roughly 50,000 people. In the local and surrounding community, Grand Itasca is the dominant provider of primary health care services. A long tradition of providing excellent service in Family Practice and Internal Medicine has positioned the Clinic for its expansion into secondary care specialties. Grand Rapids is three hours from Minneapolis and 90 minutes from Duluth.
