Tennis Channel and our growing portfolio of products (including our U.S. and International streaming apps, FAST channels, Tennis.com, and Pickleballtv) are seeking a Creative Director who can unify, inspire, and transform our creative capabilities across platforms. This role is responsible for building a new Creative Services department—one that brings design excellence, operational efficiency, and high-impact storytelling to every touchpoint of our company.
We are looking for a visionary creative leader with a sharp design eye, operational expertise, and over 20 years of experience driving innovative visual storytelling. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of building and managing high-performing Creative Services teams, streamlining workflows, and shaping the visual identity of media brands across linear, digital, and streaming platforms.
The Creative Director role will be based in our Santa Monica, CA, office. In this role, you will: - Lead the Vision: Build and lead a Creative Services team, unifying graphic designers and motion graphic artists under one operational structure.
- Centralize Creative Operations: Establish a streamlined, centralized creative workflow and asset management system that efficiently handles requests across our linear network, streaming apps (domestic and international), FAST channels, social platforms, websites, and daily tennis news content.
- Re-Org for Efficiency: Assess, reorganize, and optimize the department based on team strengths, graphic needs, and long-term company goals. Develop and implement scalable creative operations that eliminate duplication, reduce redundancies, and ensure high-quality deliverables—on time and on brand.
- Department Collaboration: Serve as the creative liaison across departments—marketing, production, direct-to-consumer domestic and international products, editorial, social, etc., to ensure visual cohesion across all channels and initiatives.
- Oversee Volume: Manage the high volume of daily creative requests on-air and online, from O&O on-platform graphics, external marketing assets, broadcast packages, etc., ensuring consistency, prioritization, and excellence.
- Be a Thought Leader: Shape the future of our brand with innovative design thinking, visual identity systems, and high-level operational strategies that keep us ahead of the curve.
Required Qualifications: - 20+ years of creative leadership experience, with a proven track record overseeing high-performing creative teams in fast-paced sports and media environments
- Expertise in leading Creative Services teams supporting broadcast, streaming, social, digital, and marketing deliverables
- Experience overseeing graphic design, motion graphics, branding, and multi-platform production across several content verticals
- Proficient understanding of creative operations and systems—especially setting up media asset management platforms and scalable workflows
- Strong strategic and operational skills, with the ability to lead creatively and manage complex project pipelines simultaneously
- Be a thoughtful, collaborative leader who thrives in cross-functional environments and can balance creativity with business goals
- Have deep organizational skills—able to manage timelines, prioritize projects, and deliver under tight deadlines without sacrificing quality
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Graphic Design, Creative Arts, or related field preferred
- Knowledge of tennis, and an interest in pickleball, is preferred for this role

The base salary compensation range for this role is $175,000 to $200,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.
