Responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT). Nuclear Pharmacy provides radiopharmaceuticals and other drugs to medical care providers under highly regulated State and Federal guidelines and may consult with or advise physicians and nuclear medicine technologists on the safe and efficacious use of radioactive drugs for diagnosis and therapy. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license, minimum age of 21, prior delivery driving experience preferred, ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and strong customer service skills. Responsibilities include preparing and making deliveries on assigned routes using a company vehicle, packaging medication for shipment, scanning orders, processing returns, maintaining vehicles, and performing general facility cleaning. The role requires flexibility in shifts, ability to work under supervision, adherence to quality guidelines, and problem resolution within standard procedures.
