Job Description

Job Summary:

Our Client is seeking a dependable and hard-working Driver Helper to assist route drivers with the pick-up and delivery of used clothing donations. This role involves physical labor, excellent teamwork, and a commitment to customer service. Driver Helpers play a key role in supporting our mission to provide quality used clothing to people both in the U.S. and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist drivers in collecting clothing from donation drop-off sheds.

• Load and unload bags of clothing onto trucks safely and efficiently.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck and donation sites.

• Provide courteous service when interacting with community members and property hosts.

• Report any issues with donation sites (e.g., overfilled sheds, vandalism, safety concerns).

• Help ensure that all items are properly accounted for during pickups.

• Follow company safety protocols and procedures.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the driver or supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds regularly.

• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Reliable transportation to the warehouse or designated meeting point.

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

• Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills.

• Punctuality and reliability are essential.

Work Environment & Schedule:

• Early morning start times; some flexibility may be required.

• Workdays typically range from 6–10 hours depending on route.

• Frequent bending, lifting, and walking involved.
