The Institute for Mental and Behavioral Health Research is hiring multiple faculty positions from 2025-2027. The mission is to conduct innovative translational, clinical, and epidemiological research focused on assessment, etiology, prevention, and treatment of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. Seeking Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor with expertise in m-health, AI, data science, genomic medicine, implementation science, school-based intervention, prevention, cost-effectiveness, or evidence-based assessment. Content areas include assessment, mood, anxiety, attention problems, externalizing and aggressive behavior, trauma, sleep, early onset psychosis. Requires doctoral degree in Clinical, School, or Quantitative Psychology, Nursing, Medicine, Health Services Research, or related field, two years post-doctoral research training or equivalent, strong publication record, and current K or R level federal funding. Faculty will have access to world-class resources and data from programs like Healthy Neighborhoods Healthy Families and Partners for Kids®. Responsibilities include designing experiments and protocols, training staff, data collection and analysis, publishing results, presenting at conferences, collaborating with other investigators, mentoring post-doctoral fellows, preparing research funding proposals, managing budgets, and staff recruitment and training. The position requires a Ph.D. or MD/Ph.D. with post-doctoral fellowship completion. Good communication, technical research skills, and ability to train junior scientists are essential. The workload is heavy but manageable with pressure related to deadlines and documentation. The position is part of the Ohio State University College of Medicine faculty.
