Stacy McLaughlin Communications is seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Fall Public Relations Intern to support media outreach, research, and event coordination across luxury, lifestyle, and design clients.

Stacy McLaughlin Communications is a female-owned, boutique public relations firm specializing in luxury, lifestyle, and interior design. With over two decades of experience in brand building, media relations, and image strategy, we deliver tailored, strategic PR for a curated roster of exceptional clients—and we’re looking for a standout intern to join our team for Fall 2025.

This is a paid, hybrid internship (remote + in-person in NYC), ideal for someone interested in luxury lifestyle and design, smart, self-aware, and creatively curious. You’ll work closely with senior team members and contribute meaningfully to media campaigns, social content, and event production. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world PR experience and build foundational skills for a future in communications, branding, or digital media.

What you’ll do:

• Track press coverage and organize media clippings
• Draft and schedule social content for both the agency and clients (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
• Sit in on team and client meetings, take notes, and contribute ideas
• Update and maintain media lists, databases, and agency files
• Research media contacts, influencers, event vendors, and trends
• Support with event planning and on-site logistics
• Bring fresh, relevant ideas to weekly strategy and outreach sessions

• Comfortable managing multiple tasks and tight deadlines with calm and clarity
• Strong writer with sharp instincts for tone, timing, and storytelling
• Actively engaged on TikTok and Instagram—with a sense of what’s trending and why
• An out-of-the-box thinker who sees what others miss and isn't afraid to speak up
• Based in NYC, available to work 3–4 days a week
