Job Description

**Position Title: General Manager**

**Salary Range: $95,000 to $100,000 per year**

**Position Summary:**

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated General Manager to oversee the operations, profitability, and guest experience at our vibrant location, which includes a restaurant, retail store, private tour program, and event center. In this role, you will ensure seamless coordination across all business areas, leading our teams to uphold our core values and deliver exceptional service. A satisfactory background check is required for this position, and candidates should have a minimum of five years of experience managing various aspects of the hospitality industry.

**Management Duties:**

- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, retail shop, private tours, and events.
- Coordinate and participate in meetings, including preparing agendas, reserving locations, and recording minutes.
- Ensure all areas are equipped with necessary technology and assist managers with maintenance and technical support.
- Support recruitment and staffing efforts to ensure adequate coverage, stepping in as needed.
- Identify and resolve cross-departmental issues, facilitating collaboration between various teams.
- Document inefficiencies and work with the Director of Operations to implement process improvements.
- Provide constructive feedback to team members and ensure adherence to company policies.

- Collaborate with the management team to maintain our brand's look, feel, and culinary standards.
- Monitor customer feedback and ensure timely resolutions to complaints.
- Work with marketing teams to promote special events, tours, and retail offerings.

**Project Management:**

- Collaborate with the Director of Operations to develop project plans tailored to site needs, including objectives, technologies, schedules, and staffing.
- Schedule and coordinate projects to meet operational goals and deadlines.
- Identify and select technology vendors and consultants for projects.
- Manage project budgets, track milestones, and prepare progress reports.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is organized and communicated to relevant staff and departments.

**Qualifications:**

- A minimum of 5 years of multi-site management experience in the hospitality industry.
- Experience in hospitality, retail, events, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all staff and management.
- Proficiency in various software programs, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Drive, Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign), and restaurant management software (e.g., TOAST POS).

**Physical Demands:**

- Regularly required to talk and hear.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and reach with hands and arms.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.
- Ability to occasionally lift equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds.

**Work Environment:**

- High noise level typical of a restaurant environment, shared with staff and customers.
- Fast-paced, frequently changing environment with normal interruptions.
- Minimal exposure to physical risks; however, constant exposure to food allergens and moderate exposure to unusual elements (e.g., extreme temperatures, dust, fumes) may occur.
