The anticipated salary range for this role is between $325,000.00and $325,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award. In addition to cash compensation, SMBC offers a competitive portfolio of benefits to its employees.
This role is responsible for leading the US Cash Management product organization including defining and developing the product vision and strategy in close cooperation with customers, developing and maintaining differentiation in the market, supporting Sales in driving new business deals as well as working with existing clients to deepen wallet share. Additionally, this individual should also facilitate cohesion across product design, development and go-to-market execution to deliver value propositions and customer experience. This role will also require partnership with business partners such as Technology, Operations, Sales, and all other cross-functional teams to exceed client expectations. This role will manage the P&L for this business and report into the head of cash management for the US.
Partner with the treasury and cash management leadership stakeholders to cultivate a shared product vision, and build consensus around product features and customer value proposition. Interface with legal, compliance, risk management and other internal control and operations leadership teams to identify and clear obstacles to product enhancements / releases. Oversee marketing materials for appropriateness in bringing products to market. Work closely with consumer, corporate banking, cards and digital product managers to ensure the overall firm offering is optimized and coordinated.

Establish and adhere to policies, procedures, and processes that include line of business risk limits, management supervision standards and reporting (including escalation), to ensure that risks associated with the LOB's activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled, consistent with the organizational risk appetite statement, concentration risk limits, and policies established within the enterprise risk management framework.
