Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Summary of the Job: The Hospitalist provides care for hospitalized adult, general medical patients as the admitting or consulting physician.
Minimum Qualifications: MD or DO degree, Board Certification in an appropriate specialty, experience in caring for hospitalized patients, licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners, and in good standing with the St. Tammany Parish Hospital Medical Staff.
Must be in good physical health. Requirements include standing, sitting, or walking for long periods, lifting at least 20 pounds, and working in moderate noise levels.
