Position Overview:
The Insurance Agent will be responsible for promoting and supporting our health and life insurance products, working collaboratively with clients, internal staff, and employees. This role involves not only sales but also ongoing client support, onboarding, and service facilitation. The ideal candidate will have experience in the benefits or payroll industry, with a strong focus on building relationships, understanding client and employee needs, and providing expert guidance on insurance options.
Key Responsibilities:
• Actively prospect, develop, and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to generate insurance sales, primarily focusing on health and life insurance products.
• Present, explain, and tailor insurance solutions to meet client and employee needs, providing expert guidance throughout the sales and enrollment processes.
• Support clients and employees with policy enrollment, claims, ongoing inquiries, and benefits education, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with sales, account management, and internal teams to integrate insurance offerings into our broader SaaS solutions and benefits programs.
• Conduct needs assessments to recommend appropriate insurance options and prepare compelling proposals and presentations.
• Stay informed about industry trends, product updates, and regulatory changes that may impact insurance offerings and client needs.
• Support internal onboarding and benefits integration processes by coordinating with payroll, HR, and other teams.
• Track and document client interactions, sales activities, and support cases accurately using CRM tools, maintaining a detailed record of activities and pipeline status.
• Contribute to achieving sales targets and expanding the insurance services division while ensuring ongoing client and employee support.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in the benefits, payroll, or insurance industry, with a solid understanding of health and life insurance products.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills, with the ability to support both clients and internal teams effectively.
• Strong analytical skills to assess client and employee needs and recommend suitable insurance solutions.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and committed to delivering outstanding service.
• Familiarity with SaaS platforms and experience supporting the integration of benefits and insurance services is a plus.
• Valid insurance license(s) as required by local regulations.
