Job Description
- Design, develop, and maintain robust Python-based ETL pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources into data warehouses and data marts.
- Utilize modern IDEs (preferably Visual Studio Code) for efficient code development.
- Implement continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices, preferably using GitHub Actions.
- Manage source code and collaborate using code management tools, preferably GitHub.
- Work extensively with cloud databases, with a preference for Snowflake.
- Schedule and monitor ETL jobs using scheduling tools such as Control M.
- Apply advanced knowledge of data warehousing concepts, including Star and Snowflake schemas, facts, and dimensions.
- Ensure adherence to the full software development lifecycle: designing, coding, configuring, testing, debugging, and documenting applications.
- Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Conduct technical validations and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Analyze functional requirements and provide feedback on analysis and design documents.
- Prepare technical design specifications based on business and functional requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues promptly and effectively.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional development teams to ensure high standards of quality and consistency.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
