Your impact Due to storms, flooding, and tornados across the Midwest, including Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska, FEMA is seeking support from CCPRS for a new Task Order to aid in recovery efforts under our PA TAC V contract. We’re seeking Construction Managers and Project Managers to deploy to Kansas City, Missouri, and West Des Moines, Iowa, to support FEMA in providing services to applicants. You’ll help deliver the Public Assistance grant process (from applicant assignment to exit briefing) for applicants in Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. You will manage multiple projects under tight deadlines, rapidly identify issues, and recommend solutions. You will communicate effectively with stakeholders and coordinate with Sub-Recipients throughout the Public Assistance (PA) grant delivery process, ensuring efficient and accurate delivery of grant funding. Your role includes coordinating recovery priorities, understanding capabilities, participating in damage validation, and facilitating the entire process to avoid delays. Qualified candidates must be U.S. citizens, able to clear a DHS background check for “Public Trust,” and available to work 8-12 hours per day, 5-6 days per week. Deployment to Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, or Nebraska is required, with mobilization within 24-48 hours of notice, a commitment of up to 6 months or longer, and flexibility for contingent work. The position is modified full-time, working 21-39 hours per week, with PTO based on hours worked, and potential for bonuses and merit increases. The typical hourly rate range is $51/hr - $71/hr, based on experience. We support a hybrid work model, allowing split between office and remote work. Requirements 5+ years of Construction Management/Inspection or Project Management experience in a technical field. Bachelor’s Degree or 10+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree. U.S. citizen, able to pass a DHS “Public Trust” background check. Clean driving record and valid driver’s license. Ability to mobilize within 24-48 hours, commit to at least 180 days in the specified states. Strong teamwork, deadline management, and flexibility. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer skills, including document editing, web navigation, and file management. Preferred qualifications 10+ years of Construction or Project Management experience. Excellent customer service, communication skills, and attention to detail. Experience with FEMA programs, certifications, and training in relevant areas. Additional details Salary range: $106,080 - $147,680, determined by location, skills, and experience.
